Embracing Positivity-part of my routine

I know that I feel better when I have a positive mindset, which isn't easy all the time. We live in a world filled with challenges and uncertainties and that is why I try to see everything from a positive angle. But not only that, I am also trying to "snälltolka" situations.

"Snälltolka" is a Swedish term that can be roughly translated to "interpret kindly" or "give the benefit of the doubt" in English. It refers to the act of interpreting someone's words or actions in a charitable or positive manner, even if they might have been ambiguous or could have been interpreted negatively.

In essence, "snälltolka" encourages people to assume that others have good intentions or that their statements are meant in a positive or non-offensive way, rather than jumping to a negative conclusion or assuming the worst. It's a concept that promotes empathy, understanding, and open-mindedness when trying to understand others, particularly in situations where miscommunication or misunderstanding might occur.o

This is some of the things I am doing in order to integrate positive thinking new into my daily life.

1. Morning Gratitude: My day begins with a moment of reflection. I take a few minutes to acknowledge the things I'm grateful for. It might be as simple as the warm sunlight streaming through my window or the comforting embrace of my loved ones. By starting my day with gratitude, I set a positive tone for the hours ahead.

2. Mindful Meditation: Meditation has become an essential part of my daily routine. I find a quiet space, close my eyes, and focus on my breath. During this time, I let go of negative thoughts and embrace the peace and clarity that meditation offers. It helps me center myself and cultivate a positive mindset.

3. Positive Affirmations: Throughout the day, I practice positive affirmations. I've created a list of empowering statements that reinforce my self-worth, resilience, and optimism. Whenever doubt or negativity creeps in, I repeat these affirmations to remind myself of my inner strength.

4. Surrounding Myself with Positivity: I've made a conscious effort to surround myself with positive influences. This includes spending time with people who uplift and inspire me, as well as consuming media that promotes positivity and personal growth. By curating my environment, I've created a nurturing space for my positive mindset to thrive.

5. Gracious Reflection: At the end of the day, I reflect on my experiences. Even on challenging days, I search for lessons learned and silver linings. This practice not only helps me grow but also reinforces the idea that there is something positive in every situation.

6. Embracing Challenges: Rather than avoiding challenges or fearing failure, I now see them as opportunities for growth. This shift in perspective allows me to approach difficulties with resilience and a positive attitude, knowing that they are stepping stones to personal development.

7. Spreading Positivity: Sharing positivity with others has become a rewarding aspect of my routine. Whether it's offering a kind word, lending a helping hand, or simply listening, I aim to be a source of positivity in the lives of those around me. The ripple effect of spreading positivity is a beautiful reminder of the power of our thoughts.

8. Practicing Self-Compassion: I've learned that thinking positively also means being kind to myself. I acknowledge my imperfections and mistakes with compassion, understanding that they are part of the human experience. Self-compassion allows me to bounce back from setbacks and continue on my path of positive thinking.

This journey to embrace positivity is ongoing, and there are days when negativity tries to creep backhand sometimes I fails. However, my commitment to this routine reminds me that I have the power to choose my thoughts and shape my reality. So, each day, and after "failing" I'm reaffirming my belief in they potential of a positive mindset.

How about taking a minute or two to reflect on: What makes you feel good?
